Employment Connection Client Spotlight
"LT" working with the Dutchtown Neighborhood Beautification Team
“LT” has been constantly struggling to find stability and consistency in his life. Employment Connection’s Cure Violence Team, along with our Housing and Career Services Teams, have provided him with emergency housing assistance, job training and placement, and other services to help him move forward with his life.
Recently “LT” was given keys to a new apartment by the Housing Team, and we will continue to assist him as long as he requests our support. Helping him get into stable housing has given him the opportunity to move forward with job opportunities and provide his children with stability.
Andrea Lewis Discusses Racial Equity with the St. Louis County Continuum of Care
Andrea Lewis, Employment Connection Co-Manager of Housing and Client Services, presented "The Road to Racial Equity," a very informative and interesting presentation on Racial Equity and the St. Louis County Continuum of Care's efforts to achieve it on Facebook Live. View the presentation here.
