Solar Workforce Development
We believe that everyone should have access to well-paying jobs. We also believe in working towards a more sustainable St. Louis. This is why we have been working to implement a program that will increase equity in the green jobs workforce and give residents of St. Louis City access to careers in the electrical trades.
This program is in partnership with Ameren Missouri, the City of St. Louis Sustainablity Office, EFS Energy, the Energy Foundation, the Midwest Renewable Energy Association, the Prufrock Foundation, St. Louis Community College, Straight Up Solar, and US Bank.

Are you interested in a career in the electrical trades?
Residents of St. Louis City, St. Louis County, and St. Clair (IL) County are being given the unique opportunity to receive PAID training in solar panel installation. Participants will gain essential experience, skills, and qualifications that will open the door to new job opportunities!

Join the Fall 2022 Cohort!
We are excited to welcome a new training cohort in the fall of 2022. All participants will be eligible to receive $500 in compensation for their successful completion of the program. Additional wrap-around services may also be available for participants who qualify. This is an excellent opportunity to start a career in a growing field!
