Administrative Assistance

Assist with client paperwork, organization, filing, and other office duties to ensure efficient service.

Group Volunteering

Your work, church, or friend group can help the agency with group projects such as landscaping, clothing drives, preparing lunch for low-income individuals, or collaborating to put on a fundraiser to help our clients.

Volunteer With Our Sack Lunch Program

What: lunch for 25-30 clients (sandwich, chips, fruit, etc.) Where: Employment Connection, 2838 Market Street When: Any Tuesday or Wednesday at noon (except the 4th week of the month)

This program is for homeless individuals, veterans, ex-offenders, welfare recipients, and other low-income clients who attend job readiness training classes at our office. We try to get these individuals off public assistance and out of the streets, but do not have the budget to feed them as well. Most of our clients don’t have money for lunch and many eat only a bag of potato chips for the entire day. We ask volunteers to prepare a simple lunch (such as a sack lunch) for about 25 people and bring it to our office either early in the day or at 12:00 if you wish to have a tour and eat lunch with the clients.
