Employment is Empowerment. When you make a tax-deductible donation to Employment Connection you give the gift of self-sufficiency.

There are several ways that you can choose make a donation that supports social and economic stability:

Outright Gifts of Cash (Checks, Credit Cards, Securities)
A gift of cash provides EC with flexible funds that can be used or invested immediately. Cash gifts may also be pledged and paid out over a period of years. Pledges provide security, allowing us to plan on income for a specified period of time. Questions regarding tax consequences can be addressed to our development office. Give now .

Gifts of Property
A gift of appreciated securities (such as stocks and bonds) or real estate creates both income tax and capital gains tax savings. Such gifts, which have appreciated in value, permit a charitable income tax deduction for the fair market value. Antiques, artwork, jewelry, furniture, furnishings, and similar items are also appreciated as donations.

Matching Gifts
Check with the personnel office at your place of work for a matching gift form and enclose it with your own contribution.

Wills (Bequests)
Gifts by will are the most popular method of making a deferred gift to charity. Name Employment Connection as a remainder beneficiary of your estate, or make a specific request to support our work. Request information now.

NAP Tax Credits
The State of Missouri "partially reimburses" eligible donors who fund the work of Employment Connection through purchase of Tax Credits. In effect, this enables donors to finance local projects with money they would otherwise owe on their Missouri taxes. Donors recieve up to a 50% tax break per tax credit purchase.Available to businesses and individual business owners. Request information now.

Life Insurance
You can name Employment Connection as the primary beneficiary of your life insurance policy. A donor who wishes immediate tax benefits may wish to consider the irrevocable assignment of an insurance policy to Employment Connection. Charitable Remainder Trusts and Annuities
These are special financial arrangements made between the donor and EC. A donor transfers property to EC and in return receives life income benefits. Contact our development office for more information. Request information now

Workplace Giving
Encourage your employer to enhances it public image by allowing employees to make payroll deduction gifts directly to Employment Connection. Workplace giving reduces time, paperwork and expenses associated with tracking charitable giving. Request information now
